    1. How much nitrous oxide can your Competition kit flow?

The competition kit, which uses a modified NOS SuperHiFlo valve. It will provide a sustained flow of 0.45 lbs of liquid nitrous oxide per second. This typically equates to adding 550 added nitrous horse power.

    2. How much nitrous oxide can your Evil Twin Pro Kit flow?

The NANO Evil Twin Kit was announced in late August of 2007. It will provide a sustained flow of 0.70 lbs of liquid nitrous oxide per second. This typically equates to 850 nitrous horse power. This kit is only available through qualified nitrous tuning shops.

    3. How do I connect a filled nitrous oxide bottle to the NANO tank without loosing my N20?

The NANO kit comes with a anti-reversion check valve which you install in the port of your nitrous oxide bottle. When you disconnect the line connecting the NANO tank with your nitrous oxide bottle, the valve shuts off the flow of nitrous from that port.

    4. Do I have to drain my nitrous bottle before refilling it?

No, but you do need to purge the air from you nitrous bottle before filling it! This is accomplished by inverting your nitrous bottle and turning on the nitrous bottle valve for a short period of time. Initially you will hear the NANO air in the bottle will escape. Next you will see nitrous vapor start to escape. When this occurs the air has been purged from your nitrous bottle.Immediately shut off the nitrous valve. You are ready to do a nitrous fill.

    5. Do I need to re-tune my car’s nitrous system after I install the NANO system?

Because NANO maintains perfect nitrous density, it will deliver about 20% more nitrous than your stock system. If you are installing our Challenger Kit, Universal Kit or Competition Kit and your existing nitrous system has been installed to meet the specifications of your nitrous kit manufacturer, we suggest that you initially pill down your nitrous by about 20%. At that level you should get the equivalent performance you did before installing NANO. Re-tune your system as you get more experience. Keep in mind that NANO technology maintains 100% of off-the-line power all the way down the track. As you retune your performance will increase substantially.

If you are installing our high horse power Evil Twin Kit, which can support from 500 to 850+ nitrous horsepower kits, you will need to go through the normal re-tuning process. These kits should be installed by a qualified professional.

    6. Where do I get my NANO tank filled?

The NANO tank is filled with high pressure air (HPA) or high pressure nitrogen (HPN) to a pressure of 3000 psi. Be sure your suppliers provide air that is dry. We use the following sources. SCUBA shops, paintball stores, fire equipment refill stores, and local fire stations.

    7. Are nitrous oxide bottles included with your NANO System kits?

In most cases you already have your nitrous bottle. You can however order one of our nitrous bottles as an option. If you have more than one nitrous oxide bottle now, you may want to purchase extra check valves (one for each of your nitrous bottles)

    8. Do track rules disallow NANO Systems?

Our technology is very safe. Our equipment is DOT certified and this technology, unlike a “push system” our technology neither elevates pressures or temperatures. Every track can set or change its own rules. Most rules seem to be based first on safety and then balancing competitive advantages. We are not aware of any track that has disqualified a car due to the use of a NANO’s kit.

    9. When using a NANO Regulator can the nitrous oxide bottle pressure be adjusted?

The factory static pressure setting of the NANO regulator is 950 PSI which results in a dynamic pressure of around 900 PSI.
