- How much nitrous oxide can your Competition kit flow?
A. The Competition Kit uses a modified NOS Super Hi-Flo valve and delivers a sustained flow of 0.45 lb/sec of liquid nitrous oxide — equivalent to roughly 550 additional horsepower.
- How much nitrous oxide can your Nano X2 High Flow Kit flow?
A. In our flow bench test using a Nitrous Supply-style valve and two NANO bottles on a single 10 lb nitrous bottle, we saw the following results:
Test Setup:
-
Four .048 jets
-
Four .046 jets
-
One .066 jet
-
One .050 jet
-
Single 10 lb bottle feeding solenoids via -8 AN line
Results:
-
Without NANO: Pressure dropped from 810 psi → 620 psi, flowing 0.66 lb/sec.
-
With NANO: Pressure held steady from 843 psi → 805 psi, flowing 0.77 lb/sec.
This demonstrates the Nano X2 High Flow Kit maintains higher, steadier pressure throughout the entire pass—delivering stronger, more consistent flow and eliminating the typical power drop-off seen with standard systems.
In short: With the Nano X2, you get .77 lb/sec of nitrous flow and consistent power from start to finish.

- How do I connect a filled nitrous oxide bottle to the NANO tank without loosing my N20?
A. Every NANO kit includes an anti-reversion check valve that installs into the nitrous bottle’s port.
When you disconnect the line between the NANO tank and your nitrous bottle, the valve automatically closes — preventing nitrous loss during disconnection. - Do I have to drain my nitrous bottle before refilling it?
A. No, but you do need to purge the air before refilling.
To do this:-
Invert your nitrous bottle.
-
Crack open the valve briefly — you’ll first hear air escape (from the NANO charge).
-
Once nitrous vapor begins escaping, immediately close the valve.
The air is now purged, and your bottle is ready for a proper refill.
-
- Do I need to re-tune my car’s nitrous system after I install the NANO system?
A. Because NANO maintains perfect nitrous density, it will deliver about 20% more nitrous than your stock setup.
If you’re using our Challenger Kit, Universal Kit, or Competition Kit, start by reducing your nitrous jet size by approximately 20% to match your previous performance level.
As you fine-tune, you’ll be able to safely take advantage of the system’s increased consistency and off-the-line power. For those installing the Nano X2 High Flow Kit (supporting 800+ HP systems), we strongly recommend a professional re-tune to match your build’s requirements.
- Where do I get my NANO tank filled?
A. The NANO tank is filled with high-pressure air (HPA) or high-pressure nitrogen (HPN) to 3,000 psi.
Make sure your supplier provides dry air to prevent contamination.
Common refill sources include:-
SCUBA shops
-
Paintball supply stores
-
Fire equipment refill centers
-
Local fire stations

- Are nitrous oxide bottles included with your NANO System kits?
A. Most users already own a nitrous bottle, so our systems are typically sold without bottles.
However, you can order NANO-compatible nitrous bottles directly from us.
If you use multiple bottles, we recommend one check valve per bottle for easy switching between them. - Do track rules disallow NANO Systems?
A. No. NANO systems are safe, DOT-certified, and do not increase bottle pressure or temperature like push systems do.
While each track sets its own rules, we’re not aware of any venue that has disqualified a vehicle for using a NANO system.
Our technology emphasizes safety, consistency, and fairness in competition. - When using a NANO Regulator can the nitrous oxide bottle pressure be adjusted?
A. The factory static pressure of the NANO regulator is 950 psi, which produces a dynamic pressure of around 900 psi during operation.
This ensures consistent, optimal nitrous pressure for smooth delivery and reliable performance every run.
